diphasic

Diphasic - aka Chee Wee - is a Singaporean electronic music artist who produces music mainly in the genres of drum & bass and dubstep. He draws his influences from dub, ragga, jungle, drum & bass, dubstep and ambient music. Since 2010, he has released singles and EPs on labels such as Sonoptix (Germany), Materializm (Australia), Syncopathic (Austria) and Danger Chamber (UK). His productions have also gained support from DJs such as DJ Spindall (Rude FM) and Brian Roguestate (Bassdrive). He was also invited to showcase his sounds by the Singapore's music collective, Syndicate and was featured on TimeOut Singapore magazine for their local producers' special. In the last few years, Diphasic has also played live sets of his own productions on the local +65 drum & bass nights, as well as on internet radios such as Cannibal Radio (Greece) and Panoptkn (Singapore).

Amongst the varied styles of drum & bass, Diphasic's music can be described as half-time drum and bass with dub stylings, underlain by deep bass lines infused with the occasional eastern ethnic vocals.
